More Than a Highland Fling at Kenmore Club

The Highlands of Scotland are known for many things, for the swooping hills, the Lochs and panoramic views. Scotland itself has been come synonymous for many things over the years, some good, some not so good, but overall this stunning country is an excellent place to enjoy your Diamond Resorts Points if you're an owner.

The Kenmore Club is the pride of Diamond in the country, located on the banks of Loch Tay in what can only be described as one of the most outstandingly beautiful areas in the highlands. The club, named after the nearby village of Kenmore is built to bare a resemblance to the picturesque cottage giving you the feeling that the club is really at home in the highlands. The 58 cottages which make up the club are surrounded by lush greenery and are within distance of the facilities that members can enjoy during their stay.

Those staying at the club will have access to an indoor swimming pool at the loch edge, as well as enjoying water sports, sailing and a round or two of golf while you're at it - although not getting too close to the water! One of the best ways of enjoying the area is to experience it by foot, it gives you ample chance to take it all in at your own pace, under your own steam.

While you're at the Kenmore Club, you couldn't be better placed to see what the highlands and Perthshire can offer you. One of the much loved activities by guests is the Highland Safaris, Land Rover tours which journey through the heart of Perthshire from the Safari Lodge. In addition to taking to the wheels, there is also golden and gem panning, and searching for Red Deer - who needs Africa for Safari? Discounts at the Safari as also available for guests at the Kenmore Club, all you've got to do is ask.

Staying closer to the club, you can explore the shores of the Loch, from visiting the Scottish Crannog Centre to Salmon Fishing, there are many ways of soaking up the almost mystical atmosphere. The Crannog Centre offers a unique view into the past with a reconstruction of an Iron Age Dwelling from around 5,000 years ago.

Whilst a stay at the Kenmore Club is naturally geared towards an experience away from it all, you are still within a short distance of Perth, located on the banks of the River Tay. If you're a fan of the arts, of theatre and culture, Perth has a Museum and Art Gallery as well as two theatres. It is also a great place to visit if you're looking for that Scottish favourite, Whiskey.
